# 检索文献错误

检索文献过程中，各种原因都可以引起错误。如果检索在线数据库时，EndNote 遇到错误，EndNote会停止检索过程。为了能得到其他文献，最好是再提交一次检索，此时会启动遇到错误文献之后的检索。例如，如果第10个文献出现错误，再提交检索时，会从第11个文献开始检索

EndNote 因为速度和内存的原因一般不会批量检索文献，但是有些服务器太 TMD 的慢，或者记录数据太大，此时 EndNote 可能会批量下载文献。如果发现每次同样的检索尝试多次后仍与服务器连接失败，可能需要关闭批量下载。此时需要打开所用的连接文件并[编辑连接文件](/connection-files/editing-a-connection-file.md)，取消连[连接设置](/connection-files/connection-settings.md)中的批量下载选项
