# 无法保存

修改一个输出格式，滤件或者连接文件后，却发现不能直接保存这些修改的文件，必须选择「Save As」命令保存为另外一个备份文件。其实这也是 EndNote 的一处防护措施，一是保护原始文件，另外如果电脑是多个用户的话，让大家不受相互影响

随 EndNote 安装的输出格式，滤件和连接文件常位于以下目录

> C:\Program Files\EndNote X7\Styles\
> C:\Program Files\EndNote X7\Filters\
> C:\Program Files\EndNote X7\Connections

但是个人创建的或者修改的上述文件是保存在个人文件夹内，默认目录如下：

> **Windows XP**\
> C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\EndNote\Styles\
> C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\EndNote\Filters\
> C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\EndNote\Connections
>
> **Windows Vista**\
> C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Styles\
> C:\ Users\User Name\Documents\EndNote\Filters\
> C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Connections
>
> **Windows 7 and Windows 8**\
> C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Styles\
> C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Filters\
> C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Connections

当显示上述文件列表时，显示的不仅是 EndNote 安装文件夹的，也显示个人文件夹内的。也就是说随 EndNote 安装的和自己修改的上述文件都显示。可见[目录位置设置](/preferences/folder-locations-preferences.md)

如果想把修改的文件要以让所有用户都可用，必须以管理员用户登陆电脑，把上述文件复制到程序安装目录相应的子文件夹内
