# 更新期刊列表

为了能让 EndNote 在参考文献中精确的使用期刊缩写，重要的是输入期刊名称不同格式时要保持一致。第一行是输入期刊全名的，以下是输入期刊不同缩写形式的，详见[期刊名称输入要点](/term-lists/important-points-about-entering-journal-names.md)

Journal Article 和 Electronic Article 类文献的期刊列表可以自动更新，当然如果关闭了自动更新功能这个功能就失效了(见[术语表设置](/preferences/term-lists-preferences.md))。当期刊列表更新时，在Journal栏目中输入的数据进行期刊列表的第一行(Full Journal)，Alternate Journal 中输入的数据进入第二行 ( Abbreviation 1 )。在这些栏目中输入数据要确保一致，这样期刊术语表才能正确更新。注意如果 Journal 输入的数据期刊术语表中有，期刊列表就不会添加这个名称了。EndNote 在期刊列表中自动忽略重复名称

如果关闭了期刊术语表自动更新功能，需要手动更新列表。当手动更新期刊列表时，可以选择列表的中的哪个列用于哪个栏目的数据

**更新期刊列表方法：**

1. 打开一个 EndNote 数据库，选择需要更新期刊术语表的文献，也可以使用搜索命令查找所需要的文献
2. 依次打开菜单 Tools >> Define Term Lists >> Journals
3. Update List
4. 选择期刊名称匹配的栏目，如果是更新选中的文献，则选中「Update from Selected References」，如果不选中则更新当前文献列表窗口中显示的所有文献
5. OK
