# 参考文献期刊缩写

当在参考文献中根据期刊列表插入期刊名称时，只会插入第一个输入的期刊名称。但是参考文献通过编辑输出格式可以使用期刊术语表中任何缩写形式

### 编辑输出格式以使用期刊缩写

1. 依次打开菜单 Edit >> Output Styles >> Open Style Manager
2. 选择一个输出格式然后选择 Edit
3. 选择[Journal Names](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/15Styles/Journal_Names.htm)
4. 选择一种可用的缩写形式
5. 保存并关闭输出格式编辑窗口，使用新编辑的输出格式格式化一下论文即可

如果不选择缩写，参考文献中的期刊名称就以在文献中输入的期刊名称为准

### 缩写使用哪个术语表

有的期刊可能有多个(虽然少见)缩写形式，因此选择期刊的缩写形式此时就很重要了。EndNote 是使用多行列表关联期刊相应的栏目(例如，如果输出格式是选择的 Alternate Journal 栏目，对子么 EndNote 就关联 Alternate Journal 栏目)。如果多行列表没有关联相应的栏目，EndNote 使用其发现的第一行列表

预设期刊列表为多行列表，与下列栏目相关联：

* Journal Article reference type — Journal
* Journal Article reference type — Alternate Journal
* Electronic Article reference type — Periodical Title

唉，还是我说一点吧，有很多童鞋不知道该选择哪个缩写形式，因为在输出格式的 Journal Names 中有3个缩写形式，分别是 Abbreviation 1，Abbreviation 2, Abbreviation 3.那么依次打开 Tools >> Defiene Term Lists >> Lists >> Journals >> Update List，就会看见这3种缩写所对应的字段了，选择有内容的缩写形式即可，一般是 Abbreviation 1
