# 创建主题目录

1. 打开 EndNote 数据库，仅显示需要包含在主题目录中的文献
   * 依次打开菜单 References >> Show All Reference 可以显示数据库下所有文献
   * 选择一个组可以显示当前组下所有文献
   * 依次打开菜单 Tools >> Search Library，要以输入搜索词查找可以显示符合查找条件的文献
   * 选中文献，菜单 References >> Show Selected References 可以显示当前选中的文献
2. 点击文献列表，使其成活动窗口
3. 依次打开菜单 Tools >> Subject Bibliography
4. 选中需要在主题目录中包含的内容
   * 最常用的选择是使用关键词创建主题目录
   * 可以选择任何字段。如果创建的主题目录有多个字段，生成的主题目录会把这些字段合并成一个列表
   * 如果某个字段的内容有其他字段的内容，该字段排在字母排序的字段前
   * 右侧的「Select All」或「Clear Selection(s)」可以快速选择所有字段或者清除选择
5. 相关选项设置
   * List each author separately\
     选中时以全部作者姓名作为标题，如果取消选中则把全部作者分成不同的标题
   * In other fields, list each entry that is separated by slash, carriage return, or line feed\
     选中时，把不是作者的字段内容都分成一个标题
   * 每个关键词经常分开，都作为一个标题
6. 选择「OK」
7. 选择需要做为标题的项目
8. 选择「OK」\

   如果想修改设置，增加或者移除字段，选择「Terms」回到上一步

   **注：**标题是根据文献中的记录，不会替换没有特殊格式化的作者姓名和杂志标题.
9. 「Layout」可以修改主题目录的样式，详见 [References](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/subject-bibliographies/The_References_Tab.htm)，[Terms](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/subject-bibliographies/The_Terms_Tab.htm)，[Page Layout](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/subject-bibliographies/The_Page_Layout_Tab.htm)，[Bibliography Layout](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/subject-bibliographies/The_Bib_Layout_Tab.htm) 等设置，尤其是「References」设置
   * Output\
     决定了文献目录样式
   * Reference List Title\
     显示在最顶端的标题
   * Reference List Order\
     排序规则
10. 主题文献目录创建后，可以：
    * 「Print Preview」打打印预览
    * 「Print」打印
    * 「Save」保存
