可以使用不同软件生成未格式化的引文保存为 RTF 文件，再使用[格式化文件](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/Basic_Instructions.htm)进行格式化。下列软件生成的 RTF 文件可以利用 EndNote 的使用[格式化文件](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/Basic_Instructions.htm)进行格式化

* Microsoft® Word
* WordPerfect®
* OpenOffice.org™ Writer
* StarOffice™ StarWriter
* Microsoft® Works
* WordPad
* 几乎其他任何软件保存的 RTF (富文件格式)文件

**注：**EndNote 使用 Unicode 显示变音符号和其他扩展字符。如果这些字符不能正确显示，可能是因为字处理软件缺少 Unicode，需要咨询其软件公司
