# 3.2 注意事项

EndNote 数据库中添加文献的方法有很多种，本文和接下来的讨论一下如何增加文献，如何输入文献信息，如何编辑文献以及插入字段等内容。

**EndNote 数据库的文献有一些注意事项**

* 每个文献的信息存储格式化引文和参考文献所需的一些必需信息，另外还包括另外一些信息，如：关键词，评论，摘要，链接等等
* 每个添加到数据库的文献会自动分配一个编号，这个编号在这个数据库中是不会变的。EndNote 使用这个编号格式化论文的参考文献
* EndNote 数据库中对于文献的数量没有限制
* EndNote 内置了 56 种文献类型，还有 3种 可以自定义类型以供用户自定义使用，详见[文献类型列表](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/Appendices/List_of_Reference_Types.htm)
* 作者，题目，发表时间等字段信息可以编辑和删除，也可以增加新的字段，每个文献包括类型在内最多可支持52个字段。
* 除了特殊字符，大小等以外，文献是以[纯文本](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/plain_text.htm)形式保存
* 文献显示字体可通过[字体设置](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/changing_th_GenDsplyFont.htm)修改
* 每个文献可以方便的插入图片和声音附件，这些附件可在 Word 中引用。详见[插入图像](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/Inserting_Figures.htm)。而且还可以插入多个附件，参阅[添加附件](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/Linking_a_File_toan_ENRef.htm)
* 虽说文献可以自动保存，但是还是建议编辑文献后手动保存一下为佳
