# 更新

单个或者多个文献的可用更新对话框可从 EndNote 以外的数据库，如 Web of Science™ Core Collection 和 PubMed 获得更新信息

更新对话框可从 References >> Find Reference Updates，文献窗口更新图标，以及在 Word 的 EndNote 工具栏中的 Edit & Manage Citations 对话框等方式启动

当选择更新时，EndNote 会搜索文献的更新信息

### 查找更新的过程

EndNote 一般按照下面步骤搜索更新

* 首先查找 DOI 信息，如果找到，EndNote 显示更新对话框和更新字段
* 如果没有找到 DOI 号，EndNote查 找作者姓名，发表年代和期刊，如果找到，EndNote 显示更新对话框和更新字段
* 如果没有找到，就不会出现对话框

### 查找文献更新方法

1. 从文献列表面板选择一个或多个文献，或打开文献编辑窗口
2. 在文献菜单选择 References >> Find Reference Updates 打开更新对话框。**注：**如果是文献窗口，可从菜单中的更新图标启动。
3. 可用更新在 Available Updates 和 My Reference 以蓝色高亮，如果 My Reference 面板的字段是空的或者不同于 Available Updates 的内容，就会提示更新，此时可以：

* 选择 Update All Fields 可以更新本地文献的所有内容
* 选择 Update Empty Fields 更新本地文献缺少内容

    4\. 有时还需要编辑 My Reference 面板内文献的信息

    5\. 选择 Save Updates 保存改变

    6\. 当出现对话框问是否确认保存改变时选择 Yes

**注：**如果是多个文献更新，可以选择 Skip 忽略某个文献更新。即使某些类型文献某些字段为空，也会显示所有字段。

### 编辑文献

可从 Available Updates 面板复制相关信息到相应的本地数据库中，同样可以编辑本地数据库的任何字段信息。但是不能编辑 Available Updates 面板中的内容。
