# 标签

标签（Label）有很多用途，如特殊的文章的文中引文或重印号

有些参考文献格式要求引文包括作者姓名的一部分，如 \[SMIT 90]。EndNote 不能建立这样的引文格式，但是如果把 SMIT 90 输入到标签中，并在引文模式中插入标签字段，这样 EndNote 就能把标签插入到引文中

标签栏目不仅可以用于引文，标签还可以用作文献分类

另外有时候要和同事进行协作，两人之间的数据库中都包含文章所需的参考文献，但是两人的数据库又不同。此时标签就很重要了，因为在插入引文时，EndNote 一般是根据文献的数据库编号，作者，年代，题目而决定是引用的哪个文献。但是呢，因为两人的数据库不同，因此如果使用文献的数据库编号，会引起参考文献的混乱。你格式化文章，他又格式，最后把 EndNote 搞浑了，不知道哪个是哪个了。但是此时如果在标签内为每一个文献作一个特定的标记，那么 EndNote 就清楚了，原来是引用的这个鸟
