# 期刊

期刊部分会自动与期刊术语表匹配，也就是输入期刊时会自动提示和自动完成，这在输入期刊名称时会很方便。如果期刊是第一次输入，新的期刊名会添加到术语表中。

期刊名称会根据期刊术语表有多种表示方式，基于参考文献引文要求 (参阅[创建期刊缩写目录](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/09TermLists/Creating_Bibs_WJrnlAbrvs.htm))可在文中以多种方式表示。如果期刊名称的不同形式输入到期刊术语表时，参考文献中也会引起同样的改变(见[期刊名称](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/15Styles/Journal_Names.htm))，在参考文献创建时会有适当的替换。

EndNote 在 Terms 文件夹有几种预设的期刊列表，如果喜欢这些列表，可以用[载入期刊缩写](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/09TermLists/Loading_SuppliedJrnlAbbrvs.htm)中所提到的方法导入到自己期刊列表中。

### 替代期刊

当导入或者从在线数据库更新文献时，期刊有两种表达形式，替代期刊栏目（Alternate Journal ）就很重要了。通过[更新期刊列表](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/09TermLists/Updating_a_Journal_List.htm)，不用自己输入就能使用正确的期刊表达方式。
