# 附件

附件（File Attachments）栏目可以存储 PDF 文件以及其他类型文件的路径

**注：**图像 Figure 栏目是存储想在文中插入图表或者文件

### 添加附件方法

1. 选中一个文献
2. 依次打开菜单 References >> Attachments >> Attach File
3. 打开对话框，找到需添加的文件，选中该文件添加附件
4. 对话框的下方有一个选项：「Copy this file to the default file attachments folder and create a relative link」(拷贝文件到默认附件文件夹并建立一个相对链接)，建议选中

* 果选中该项 EndNote 会把文件拷贝到数据库的 DATA 文件夹下的 PDF 文件夹内
* 取消选中附件还是存储于原来的位置，EndNote 只是添加一个绝对路径，详见：[附件的相对链接和绝对链接](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/creating-a-new-reference/SelctngRltvPthAbsPthforFileAtt.htm)

    5\. 选择「打开」

如果文献有附件，会在前面有一人附件的图标，表明这个文献有附件。

**注：**另一个添加附件的方法是在文献窗口或者数据库窗口把文件直接拖到文献上。附件保存于数据库与否取决于附件的默认设置，见[URLs & Links 设置](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/references/18Prefs/URLSandLinksPrefs.htm)

**注：**为了保存不同操作平台的兼容性，建议把附件保存于数据库中，即在添加附件时选中「Copy this file to the default file attachments folder and create a relative link」。同时附件的名称中不能有以下字符，有以下字符 EndNote 会自动进行替换为下划线。
