# 馆藏书号

图书馆藏书排架用的编码，又称索书号，索取号。是文献外借和馆藏清点的主要依据。一般由分行排列的几组号码组成，常被印在目录卡片的左上角、书脊下方的书标上以及图书书名页或封底的上方。一个索书号只能代表一种书

这种号码具有一定结构并带有特定的意义。在馆藏系统中每种索书号是唯一的，可借以准确地确定馆藏图书在书架上的排列位置，是读者查找图书非常必要的代码信息
