# 个人文件夹设置

依次打开菜单 Edit >> Preferences >> Folder Locations

个人文件夹位置，**强烈建议把我的文档移至为非系统盘**

EndNote 的原始的 styles, filters, connection files 一般都在 EndNote 安装文件下。改变默认文件夹方法可见[改变默认文件夹](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/20Networks/Changing_the_Default_Content_File_Location.htm)

> C:\Program Files\EndNote X7\Styles\
> C:\Program Files\EndNote X7\Filters\
> C:\Program Files\EndNote X7\Connections

而个人文件夹是上述东东修改后或者自己创建的上述文件的保存位置

EndNote 有了默认文件夹，为嘛还要设置一个个人文件夹？介是因为如果因为某种原因重新安装 EndNote 或者升级 EndNote 时，会覆盖原来的文件，如果修改某个样式等，这样会把辛辛苦苦修改后的文件给替换了，白劳动了。但是有了个人文件夹就不同，修改后的文件都会计程车在个人文件夹内。另外因为 EndNote 都是安装在C盘，Vista 以后的操作系统在C盘写入东西都要权限，如果不是管理员，这就蛋疼了

个人文件夹默认存储在我的文档文件夹下，因此建议把我的文档移动到非系统盘，当然这里也可以自定义个人文件夹，**强烈建议此处设置为非系统盘**

**Windows XP:**

C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\EndNote\Styles\
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\EndNote\Filters\
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\EndNote\Connections

**Windows Vista:**

C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Styles\
C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Filters\
C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Connections

**Windows 7 和 Windows 8:**

C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Styles\
C:\ Users\User Name\ Documents\EndNote\Filters\
