# 复制格式

当在[EndNote](http://www.howsci.com/tag/endnote/)中显示一些格式时，格式包括在[EndNote](http://www.howsci.com/tag/endnote/)安装文件夹下的 Styles 子文件夹和个人格式文件夹下存储的文献。找到格式存储的位置可以查看的[EndNote 默认文件夹](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/18Prefs/Folder_Locations.htm)或[EndNote的安装及注意事项](http://www.howsci.com/endnote-install.html)。

因为每个格式在硬盘存储为单独的文件，可以使用Windows的拷贝命令复制这些格式，甚至拷贝到U盘，这样可以把格式作一个备份，详见[备份EndNote文件](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/Appendices/backing_up_your_EN_files.htm)。

**EndNote内备份格式**

1. 依次打开菜单Edit >> Output Styles >> Style Manager
2. 选择想要复制的格式然后选择Edit
3. 不做斜体编辑，依次打开菜单File >> Save As
4. 命个新名字吧
