# 没有数据库怎么办

EndNote 默认只安装最知名的连接文件，安装连接文件详见[安装新连接文件](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/21InstallingEndNote/Installing_AdditionalConnectFiles.htm)

如果某些在线数据库没有相应的连接文件，可以联系学校图书馆或者数据库供应商。如果数据库符合 Z39.50 协议服务器，可以[创建连接文件](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/17ConnectFiles/Creating_Connectn_Files.htm)

**安装连接文件**

连接管理器显示了当前可用的连接文件，如果是新下载的链接文件，可以把这个连接文件复制到个人文件夹

连接文件个人文件夹设置

1. 依次打开菜单 Edit >> Preferences
2. Folder Locations
3. Connection Folder
4. Select Folder
5. 选择文件夹
6. Select
7. OK
