# 合并

合并数据库的方法有3种：从另一数据库中[导入](/lib/library-operation/importing-endnote-libraries.md)，从另一数据库中[复制文献](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/lib/08Search/Copying_References_inLibs.htm)，使用[拖放功能](https://app.gitbook.com/s/-LrgCHEEK5wsSALfCziF/lib/08Search/Using_Drag_and_Drop.htm)

如果在数据库中添加文件，新添加的文献会分配一个新的编号，这意味着在一个小型数据库中某一文献是编号是 #250，到了一个较大数据库中就可能变成 #500。如果一个论文是用原来较小数据库撰写的，并且引用了这篇文献，此时该篇文献复制到较大数据库时，因为这篇文献的编号变了，就不能使用这个较大数据库格式化原来的论文了。如果格式化参考文献就很可能出错。

**注：** 合并数据库前，最好做好目标数据库的备份
