EndNote X7.1 不兼容 EndNote 7 或更早期版本的数据库，当打开 EndNote 5, 6, 或 7 的数据库时，EndNote 将会转换这些早期版本数据库为新的数据库格式

如果是邮寄的方式传递数据库，建议使用[压缩备件](/lib/library-operation/saving_a_cmprssdcpy_ofa_lib.md)方式把数据库压缩成一个文件再传递，EndNote X7 会自动解压这个压缩文件为 .enl 文件和相应的 .DATA 文件夹。
