# 删除文献

删除文献不同于移除文献，删除文献会把文献从[数据库](http://www.howsci.com/tag/library/)中删除，并放置于垃圾箱中。如果想移除文献而不是从数据库中删除文献，详见[组中移除文献](/group/groups/removing-references-from-custom-group.md)

**删除文献方法：**

1. 选中需要删除的文献
2. 拖到垃圾箱中，此时文献只是暂时移至垃圾箱中，但是文献已从数据库中删除，不能引用或者搜索，不过此时这些文献并未完全删除掉。如果想恢复文献仍可在垃圾箱中找到该文献恢复到数据库中。
3. 如果想彻底删除，可以清空垃圾箱(右击垃圾箱选择 Empty Trash)

**注意：**当在智能组中删除文献时，[EndNote](http://www.howsci.com/tag/endnote/)不会有所提示直接删除到垃圾箱
