# 引文省略作者或年代

如果输出格式是包括作者和年代，可能有的引文不要作者和/或年代。简单的方法是把不想要的信息在输入临时引文中不输入即可

省略作者

.`..translations of EndNote help by Howsci {, 2015 #38}.`

上述临时输出格式化为

.`..translations of EndNote help by Howsci (2015).`

省略年代可以输入

`...translations of EndNote help by Howsci {Howsci, #38}.`

格式化成

.`..translations of EndNote help by Howsci (Howsci).`

**注：**如果是数字型输出格式，这些设置无效

如果想某个文献只出现在文末的参考文献列表中，在文中不出现，可以省略作者年代，只输入文献编号

但是如果想作者和年代不管是否在临时引文中有或无都在格式化后文章中出现，需要进行一下设置，打开 EndNote，依次打开菜单 Edit >> Preferences >> Formatting，取消选中「Omit Author and/or Year from formatted citation if removed from temporary citation」选项，此时即使在临时引文中输入 {#34}，使用作者年代型输出格式格式化后也会有作者和年代
