# 8. 连接文件

EndNote 的在线搜索可以连接在线数据库，并且在 EndNote 内对这些数据库进行检索，之后可以根据情况把检索结果导入到 EndNote 本地数据库中。 EndNote 连接在线数据库的文件就是连接文件，每个数据库对应一个连接文件，这些文件存储于 EndNote 安装文件夹下的 Connections 子文件夹内

EndNote 提供了上千种的连接文件，默认在 Connections 子文件夹内存储了一些最知名的连接文件。可以通过依次打开菜单 Edit >> Connection Files >> Open Connection Manager 查看当前可用的连接文件
